EcoFab
Our Fab Lab serves as a hub for recycling innovation, where students, artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and local community members collaborate on transforming plastic waste into valuable products. In addition to plastic recycling, the EcoFab facilitates creativity and sustainability through workshops and events.
Workshops & Events
PECA hosts regular workshops and events that provide hands-on experience in recycling, circular economy practices, and environmental education.
Waste Collection Optimization
PECA focuses on improving the waste collection systems within the Faculty of Engineering campus. This includes setting up plastic waste collection points and organizing sensitization sessions for students on plastic pollution, waste sorting, and the valorization of recycled plastic products through prototyping.
Health Prevention For Waste Collectors
A key objective of PECA is to carry out health prevention actions for waste collectors and employees involved in the collection and sorting chain, ensuring they follow safe and sustainable practices. This includes conducting a KAP survey on the working conditions and pathologies of collectors at the Faculty of Engineering and organizing awareness seminars based on the survey results.
